Where the bonds with some of my best friends were born

I always looked forward to Halloween at the Scotch. When I have a bad day, I will remember some of those costumes and it always puts a smile on my face. There was Sonny as “Hef”; Greg as Sonny; Joy as Tucan Sam; Heidi as “Heidi”; and of course, Anita every year in her ballcap and jersey (predictable and hilarious!).

My best memories are of the friendships I made, the family I became a part of, and the laughs that kept me strong in the darkest of times. I loved working lunches and would look forward to Sonny’s wild and crazy stories of his younger days, and the girls with our morning bathroom gab-fests, and finding Calvin taking naps in the banquet room. At nights, rolling silverware, I learned a LOT about my girls and then we would continue on to “next door” (RIP Cafe…) where the bonds with some of my best friends were born.

Thank you Scotch & Sirloin for giving my life such color, excitement, and support; I came to you a young and silly girl, and left a better and more confident lady.
